Acanthopanax Root Main Active Ingredient
The main active components of acanthopanax are acanthopanax B and acanthopanax E. Acanthopanax root contains eleutheroside A, B, B1, C, D, E, acanthopanax A is daucosterol and acanthopanax B is syringin [1,2].
Acanthopanax roots also contain mustard aldehyde dextrose glucoside (sinapaldehyde glu - coside), coniferyl aldehyde dextrose glucoside (coniferaldehyde glucoside), pine glucoside (coniferin), liriodendron glucoside (liriodemdrin), bitter apricot kernels glucoside (amygdlin), and so on.
