Resveratrol Anticancer And Anti-mutation Effect
Resveratrol has shown chemoprophylaxis against cancer as an antioxidant, mutagenic agent and anti-inflammatory. Resveratrol also inhibits protein tyrosine kinase which catalyzes tyrosine phosphorylation. This kinase is involved in cytoplasmic information transduction in mitomite-regulated cells. Inhibition of protein tyrosine kinase with resveratrol may play an anti-mutation role by blocking the kinase function.
